SAILING
WITH US!
Once, a long time ago, we first came upon a 37-foot yacht and stayed on board for a whole week. Seven days later, we realized that if we couldn't give our friends the same experience, we would never forgive ourselves. Since then we have been inviting novices and experienced sailors to share our passion - and a lot of them come back to see fantastic Croatian coasts, enjoy comfortable sailing and delicious local cuisine.
Welcome on board, friends!
We will meet you in our home marina - Marina Frapa, about 40 km from Split airport. After the welcome briefing on board and some food shopping we take a short trip to see still waters of Dragon Eye Lake and enjoy the sunset. Later on various local restaurants can provide enough options for your first dinner on the Adriatics - from lobsters to steaks.
Full of impressions
So the week starts! We are sailing, fishing, swimming and sunbathing when we are in the sea, and on the shore do some trips for sightseeing: old monasteries, waterfalls, beaches, abandoned fortifications and a bit of hiking.
Food
Breakfast and lunch we usually have on board: on the galley you will find everything necessary, and local food markets and supermarkets are almost always not more than 500 m away from marinas. Dinner time is time of restaurants, or, if we are at anchor, we cook for ourselves. Sometimes we go to private inlets, pick up a boy for the night and motor ashore to visit a local «konoba» for an authentic baked octopus or lamb.
Sailing practise
Good to mention: travelling in Croatia is not only sunbathing or restaurants assaulting. It is also a good summer opportunity to have a little practice of sailing and, if you are interested in, come a bit deeper into details!
